Median Home Price Stable for 4 Months in a Row

Hello Agents! David wanted to share this exciting information from yesterday's San Diego Union Tribune article with you:


For the fourth straight month, the county’s median price stood at $325,000 in November, MDA DataQuick reported yesterday. It’s the first time in 21 years of record keeping that the median price has stayed the same for so long.

Factors at work, at least for the moment, include continued demand for lower-cost homes, dropping inventories of homes listed for sale, historically low interest rates, and a general improvement in economic conditions and consumer confidence.

[DataQuick analyst Andrew LePage] added, “If you take one thing away (from the latest report) … it does suggest in many markets, prices have appeared to firm up a lot.”
